Jow Lindsay Walton is the co-editor of Sad Press and Hix Eros. He has written two speculative fiction novels, Invocation and Alice Shrugged, and his most recent poetry pamphlet is Ten Laws. He lives in Bristol and sometimes goes to other places. Twitter: @jolwalton / @hixeros.

Claire Potter works across performance, publication, installation and film. Influenced by linguistics and performance theory, Potter’s work challenges received definitions of reading, writing, and speaking, to reconsider what it is to ‘articulate’. Thematically their practice is centred on the temporalities of traumatic experience, and it is through this rubric that they approach socially and politically orientated subjects such as adolescence and gender-based violence. Recent and forthcoming writing includes: How does it feel when you put it on? OAR journal, Oxford University Press; Inside an explosion is calm, Cesura/Assecco journal, London; Penmon Point, Penmon, in No Title, CCA Derry-Londonderry; Lads of Aran, in The Body that Remains, Punctum, New York; and, White hot, very, very, Ma Bibiloteque, France. Potter is from Merseyside and is currently based in Yorkshire.
